City of South Haven (Owner) is soliciting bids for the construction of the following project:
South Haven Water Tower 204010
Bids for construction of the project will be received at 521 Oak Avenue, PO Box 97, South Haven, MN 56382 until Wednesday November 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. local hour. At that time, the offers received will be opened and read publicly. The opening and reading of the Offers may be modified subject to preventive measures related to COVID-19. The project includes the following works:
Construction of a new water tower, water main, demolition of the old tower, removal of the water main and electrical controls.

Prospective bidders may obtain or examine the bidding documents at the Issuing Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and may obtain copies of the bidding documents from the issuing office as described below. Partial sets of tender documents will not be available from the issuing office. Neither the owner nor the engineer shall be responsible for complete or partial sets of the tender documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office.
Tender documents may also be inspected at Willmar Builders Exchange, 2104 East Highway 12, Willmar, MN 56201; the South Haven City Clerk/Treasurer’s office at 521 Oak Avenue, South Haven, MN, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. or can be purchased online at www.bollig-engineering.com under the auction tab via QuestCDN for $40.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Publication Office on payment of a deposit of $100 for each set. Bidders who return complete sets of the bidding documents in good condition within 10 days of receipt of bids will receive a refund of $60.00 for documents returned in good condition within the period indicated above. Make deposit checks for tender documents payable to Bollig Inc.
A pre-tender conference for the project will not be held.
Instructions for applicants
For all other requirements regarding bid submission, qualifications, procedures and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents.
American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A – Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent domestic preference laws enforce a U.S. iron and steel to this project. All steel products used in this project must be made in the United States. The term “iron and steel products” means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: coated and uncoated pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, clamps and retainers, valves, structural steel, precast concrete and building materials. The following exceptions apply to this contract: De Minimis, Minor Components and Pig Iron and Direct Reduced Iron. Wage Rate This project is funded by the USDA Rural and Small Town Development Group. Therefore, federal wage rates apply to this contract.

Notice is given that a request for the informal appointment of a personal representative (intestate) has been filed with the Registrar. No will has been presented for probate. The request has been accepted.
Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Martha Gentilini, residing at 5175 194th Street West, Farmington, MN 55024, as personal representative for the estate of the deceased. Any heir or other interested person may be entitled to be appointed personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the court (pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-607) and the court orders otherwise, the personal representative has full authority to administer the estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issue of the letters, the power to sell, encumber, rent or distribute real estate.
Any objection to the appointment of the personal representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of a proper motion and proper Notice of Hearing.
