MCR Acquires and Opens Chambers Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis, Near Target Center and Target Field | National company

It’s quite a spectacle! MCR – the 4th largest hotelier in the country – acquired the 60 rooms The Hotel of the Rooms on 9th Street and Hennepin Avenue in the Historic Theater District of downtown Minneapolis.

MCR has renamed the hotel, formerly Le Méridien, as an independent property, with a new logo and website. The logo, which has a simple and modern C, is a nod to the name of the hotel and the shape of the building. Throughout the hotel, design elements incorporate double C’s to celebrate her home in the Twin Cities!

Built in 1908, The Chambers Hotel is now open after being closed for almost a year. And not a moment too soon! Just around the corner, the Target Center, one of the best arenas in the world visited by 1 million people a year, hosts the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx games and WWE Presents Friday Night Smackdown July 30. A five-minute walk away, the MLB Minnesota Twins play ball at Target Field. Watch them take on the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers in early July!

The legendary Orpheum Theater just across the street – which hosted groundbreaking performances of the Marx Brothers vaudeville act in The Lion King debut – gears up for one of its greatest seasons yet. from disney Frozen breaks the ice with performances starting October 7.
